Curbside Trash Collection and Yard Waste
Meadowcreek Village trash and yard waste collection is every Monday, except holidays. Yard waste must be in city-approved compostable bags. Containers can be set out at 6 pm the evening before collection, and should be removed by 10 pm the day of collection.
Curbside Recycling Collection
Recycling collection is on the B-week schedule, every other Monday, except holidays. See the calendar for B-week recycling dates. Containers can be set out at 6 pm the evening before collection, and should be removed by 10 pm the day of collection.
Heavy Trash
Addresses south of Allendale Rd. (sections 1-11) have heavy trash collection on the second Monday of the month, while addresses north of Allendale Rd, (section 12) have collection on the first Monday of the month, except holidays.
Tree waste is collected odd months (January, March, May July, September, November) – “Tree Waste” is defined as “clean” wood waste such as tree limbs, branches, and stumps. Lumber, furniture, and treated wood will NOT be accepted. Junk Waste may NOT be placed for collection during a Tree Waste month.
Junk waste is collected even months (February, April, June, August, October, December) – “Junk Waste” is defined as items such as furniture, appliances, and other bulky material. Tree Waste is accepted during Junk Waste Months; however, to ensure your Tree Waste is recycled, you may hold your tree waste materials until the next Tree Waste designated month or take it to a Neighborhood Depository/Recycling Center.
Residents may place up to 4 tires at the curb for collection during Junk Waste months. Collection crews will separate the tires from the Junk Waste. It may take up to a week before crews return and retrieve the tires.
