The Meadowcreek Village Civic Club recognizes the April 2019 Yard of the Month! Thank you to Mark Clemmons, chair of the Beautification Committee, for the following:
Bob and Norma Rankin live at 2014 Shadow Creek Drive. Bob retired from the printing industry and his last run as a pressman was with Page Printing. Norma organized the lives of their eight children in Meadowcreek Village and have 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Azaleas are slowly making a comeback in Meadowcreek Village. The Rankins have made the effort to replant azalea bushes that did not survive the recent weather and climate changes. The yard design complements and compliments this mid-century modern home.
The YOM sign will be in the yard until the end of April. We hope Norma and Bob and others will be at a MVCC meeting (April 11th) for all us to congratulate their efforts. The beautification committee is looking for the winning front yard for May 2019 starting on 04-01-2019. The deadline for nominations is the last Friday of March (04-26-2019) for May 2019 YOM.
