Glynda Price’s yard is the winner of the Yard of the Month for October 2018. A pipeline easement makes a very wide yard. The pictures don’t do justice to the beauty…there is more color. Please drive by to see the yard itself. She has roses blooming in the shade of two oaks and two pine trees that are 57 years old. An excited and joyful Glynda called family and friends upon learning that her hard work achieved the Yard of the Month sign. She says that she and her husband built the home at 2203 Flagstone Terrace Street in 1961.
The YOM sign will be in the yard until the end of October. We hope Glynda and others will be at a MVCC meeting (October 11th) for all us to congratulate her efforts. The beautification committee is looking for the winning front yard for 2018 starting on 10-01-2018. The deadline for nominations is the last Friday of October for November 2018 YOM (10-26-2018).
