Despite the many HOUSTON ASTROS FANS that were glued to their TVs (and we certainly don’t hold that against them!), there was a great turnout to the Meadowcreek Village Civic Club Meeting on Thursday October 10, 2019 from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Many relevant topics were discussed including neighborhood beautification, neighborhood cleanup, and words from our Civic Club President – Roseanne Peters. We would like to see more Civic Club participants come out to the meetings and share your ideas, thoughts, and opinions. You can also come to the meeting and SIGN UP TO BE A MEMBER! Also attending the meeting was Mike Knox – Houston City Councilman At Large Position 1. It was great to meet Councilman Knox and hear his ideas on our neighborhood and city. He is pictured to the left with our Civic Club Member – Susan F. We also enjoyed the support from our Law Enforcement representatives from the Harris County Constable’s Office – Sargent Blanca Martinez and Celina H. (pictured to the right).We certainly appreciate their support and the great job that they do. It was very nice to see past Civic Club Officers – Greg Brown, Mark Clemmons, Sally Curry, and Omar Garcia at the meeting as well. Teamwork and Knowledge Sharing from Past and Present Civic Club Officers is the way to success! Our next meeting will be in December. We look forward to even more neighbors from Meadowcreek village attending.
