National Night Out 2019 A Great Success!

The Meadowcreek Civic Club (Current Board Members and Past Board Members), along with the Meadowcreek Park Staff (Erin T.), ALL pitched in for a wonderfully successful National Night Out held at Meadowcreek Park on Tuesday October 1. “FRIENDS, FOOD, and FUN” was the theme for the evening. Hot dogs, bowls of chili, and Raisin’Cains Chicken were all served to the large number of participants. Visits by several city, county, and state officials rounded out the exciting evening. We cannot forget (or thank enough) the First Responders (Police and Fire) that also attended this important event. National Night Out is about meeting your neighbors and learning how to improve your community. It takes the work of an entire community, including Elected Officials and First Responders, to continue making Meadowcreek Village a safe and happy place to live. The Meadowcreek Civic Club had a large number of neighbors that signed up to be part of their group. It was so nice to see the MANY new members join this worthwhile organization. All in all it was a great evening to come out, meet your neighbors, and learn about what makes Meadowcreek Village such a wonderful community. Thanks again to ALL who donated, assisted, served, cooked, setup, and worked so hard to make the evening a GREAT SUCCESS! More “Thank You’s” to our great photographers: Bob M, Cathy S., Carol V, Monica R, Linda C, Beverly P, Jessica S, and Roseanne P. (we borrowed some of your photos!)
